Northwest Radiology Network Welcomes Musculoskeletal Radiologist Dr. Catherine King

Northwest Radiology Network welcomes Catherine Scott King, M.D., who is subspecialized in musculoskeletal radiology.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in sports medicine from Howard University in Washington, D.C., Dr. King received her Doctor of Medicine from the Howard University College of Medicine.

She completed a diagnostic radiology residency, where she was chief resident, at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. She also completed an informatics fellowship followed by a musculoskeletal fellowship, where she was chief fellow, at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Penn.

Dr. King is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, Society for Imaging Informatics and Society of Skeletal Radiology.

She has contributed to several presentations on topics including a retrospective analysis of PET/CT scan reports to identify ways to improve patient care; dose reduction in nuclear medicine cardiac myocardial perfusion; the costs and outcomes of percutaneous nephrolithotomy based on percutaneous access; and whether or not MRI is necessary for cervical spine clearance in trauma patients without evidence of fracture.

Dr. King joins one of Indiana’s largest and most experienced staff of physicians specializing in quality high-end imaging services.
